The Embarrassment is Real

 

I know this blog isn't being read at the moment, but I still needed to get my feelings down. What happened in the Oval office with the two bully morons and the President of Ukraine was an abomination. To hear the Republicans get on the news outlets and justify the behavior of these two "adults" was even worse. I grew up in the 80's during the Cold War. We had practice drills where we hid under our desks in case the Soviet Union sent nuclear missiles into Texas. I was traumatized by reading Alas, Babylon in 9th grade. I truly believe my generation was the last generation that was taught true History...then came teach to the standardized test and that is why we are where we are...

I digress...back to the end of America at the hands of fascists. It doesn't hurt my feelings that the MAGA idiots declare anyone who doesn't cheer for and support the dictator wannabes are known as supporters of America last, because I have yet to see anything being done in the interests of America...but what about all of the trillions and billions of dollars of fraud being found? First, show me the facts line item by line item...oh, you can't? Then show me where you are applying it to help America first? Oh, it's going to Elon Musk and the other upper 1%? Oh yeah, that will definitely help America first. But those who have been indoctrinated by watching non stop Fox believe it will somehow help them...at least it's not helping those criminal illegals...oh wait, you mean the round up found there weren't as many as were stated? Oh well, let's not broadcast that info...

I don't know where we go from here, and I am at times afraid and other times angry and disgusted. If you are reading this, and you feel the same, you are not alone.
