We live in a world where freedoms long fought for have now been denied with the flick of a pen...

We live in a world that encourages hatred of those seen as different from ourselves...

We live in a world where billionaires control the actions of those chosen to govern for the people...

We live in a world where the teachings of Jesus are overlooked and his image is used as a cudgel against humanity...

We live in a world where it is ok for the children and elderly to go hungry and without a roof over their heads so that the wealthy can get wealthier...

We live in a world that claims to be pro-life, but is ok with children dying in school shootings...

We live in a world where neighbors are afraid to say hello...

We live in a world where people are afraid to get sick because they will lose their job, their care and their home...

We live in a world that sends men to fight in wars on foreign soil and erases programs meant to help them when they return home...

We live...or do we just exist?

And if we just exist, are we living?
