Out with the Old...In with the New...

Every year at this time, I get completely frustrated with the clutter that seems to magically appear in my house. I know the true source of it..considering the fact I live alone with animals, there really is no way to blame it on a child, husband, etc. So it is my fault! I work long hours, and come in tired and just lay stuff down wherever there is space...which leads me to a massive end of the year clean out! Today I focused on the kitchen...I bleached and scrubbed the counter tops and sink...cleaned out shelves and cabinets. Whatever I wasn't using (which was alot!) went into the recycle bin, trash can and donation pile...yes in that order! As a result, I was able to organize 4 cabinets and make my kitchen decluttered!!!

Tomorrow I start on the dining room...not much to put in the donation pile in there, but thanks to a mischievous puppy, plenty to put into the trash and recycle bin!
