What I'm Reading 12/19/2011

So I'm out for Christmas Break and I am trying to catch up with the long list of unread books on my Kindle...I might be doing a better job of this if I weren't constantly finding new books to add to my reading list!

I began reading Trouble Under the Tree (A Nina Quinn Mystery) today. This book is by Heather Webber, and is a continuation in the Nina Quinn Cozy Mystery Series.

I love these books...they are what I call a quick read...the only problem I have is I root for her to be with her husband who is easier to like, than her new boyfriend. Yes the husband cheated on her once, but you get the sense he is truly apologetic and regrets it, and not to go into the reason why, kind of understandable. The chemistry between these two is also dynamite...not lukewarm like her current relationship.

Anyway the blurb of this story reads as follows:

When landscape designer Nina Quinn agreed to deck the halls of Christmastowne, an indoor Christmas village, little did she know how dirty the job would be.

Christmastowne has been plagued by mishaps. Someone’s stealing toy donations, cutting lines to the security system, starting fires, and poisoning the poinsettias. Worst of all, Nina’s neighbor, Fairlee McCorkle (aka Mrs. Claus) is found murdered under Christmastowne’s enormous decorated tree.

The deeper Nina digs for clues to unwrap a killer, the more she discovers that some secrets are best left buried in the past.

I recommend you try this series if you like to read cozy mysteries!

They read in this order:

Trouble in Spades
Weeding Out Trouble
Trouble in Bloom
Digging Up Trouble
A Hoe Lot of Trouble
Trouble Under the Tree
