Families may have to pay extra to sit together on a flight


This is completely ridiculous. It is no wonder airlines are going bankrupt...they keep tacking on "extra" fees to already overpriced tickets. I can remember when flying was an experience, and sitting with your family was a given. Now more and more people are opting to go by car instead of dealing with the ridiculousness of airlines...what else are they going to tack on before they drive more people away?

Travelling is stressful enough...packing, getting everyone out the door at the right time in order to get to the airport two hours before check-in...being told you can only check one bag...and then you have to pay extra...

You are no longer allowed to pack certain things...because you might be a terrorist...you are subjected to body checks and x-rays...forget beginning your vacation in a restful mood.  I get enough stress in my day to day life!

I say it is time for us to stand up for our rights as passengers...enough with the extra fees...bring back the days of stress-free travelling!
