It's Funny How A Simple Comment Can Lead To A Song...

It's funny how you can make a simple comment to a friend, and a song begins playing in your head. One of my friends and co-workers was sick today.  I texted her to find out how she was feeling, and to see if she needed anything...we went back and forth, and my last comment after she thanked me was simply, "that's what friends are for!"

Of course this got me thinking of the song That's What Friends Are For sung by Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight and Elton John. I can remember sitting around with my friends back in those wonderful 80's listening to and singing this song...boy did we thin we rocked! So here I sit at 9:00 at night with that song stuck in my head...

So, what do I do? I download it, play it and sit here serenading the animals while they look at me like I am insane!!!

And just because I so love to share the wealth, I am going to include the lyrics...so now all of you out there can join in singing with me....now you just have to decide which part you are going to sing!
